About the Role

ChillSkates Entertainment is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant General Manager with extensive experience in event production and sales. This role is critical in supporting the General Manager in overseeing the daily operations, driving sales initiatives, and ensuring the successful execution of events. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the entertainment and skating industry, exceptional organizational skills, and a proven track record in both production and sales.

Requirements

Event Production and Coordination:

  • Plan, organize, and execute a variety of events including skate parties, promotional events, and charity functions.

  • Coordinate with vendors, sponsors, and talent to ensure all event requirements are met.

  • Oversee the setup and breakdown of event spaces, ensuring all equipment and facilities are in top condition.

  • Manage event budgets, timelines, and logistics to ensure successful execution and client satisfaction.


Sales and Business Development:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase event bookings, facility rentals, and product sales.

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, sponsors, and community partners to foster repeat business and referrals.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns that drive sales.

  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and target markets.


Operational Management:

  • Assist the General Manager in day-to-day operations of ChillSkates Entertainment.

  • Supervise and train staff, ensuring high levels of performance and customer service.

  • Monitor and maintain facility standards, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all guests.

  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally.


Administrative Duties:

  • Prepare reports on event performance, sales metrics, and operational efficiency.

  • Manage scheduling and staffing for events and daily operations.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

  • Assist in budget preparation and financial management.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Event Management, Sports Management, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in event production, coordination, and sales.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.


Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of the skating and entertainment industry.

  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems.

  • Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
